Dmitrii Vasichev: data that helps people act
Dmitrii is my best friend and business partner. We work together on digital products and automation. Here I introduce his own projects: examples of scattered information becoming useful tools in people’s hands.

Why we work together
I value working with people who are interested in the problem itself. What slows a team down? Where does time disappear? Why does a manager see different figures in two reports? Good development starts with questions like these.
Dmitrii works with data, analytics and automation. This combination helps us consider the whole journey, from the original information to a decision someone needs to make. What matters to us is that a product helps with daily work and makes sense to the people using it.

Denver Urban Pulse brings together public data on crime incidents, traffic crashes, city service requests and air quality. Select a neighbourhood on the map, change the time period and explore the related indicators. Scheduled updates and visible source dates show how current each dataset is.
The product’s approach is useful beyond city data: ask a question and explore a connected picture. A business could use the same principle to bring branch reports together, then look more closely at a particular location, period or area of work.
Try it yourself
Open UrbanPulse using the link below the image. Select a neighbourhood and compare periods to see how connected information helps you explore a question.
A platform for team operations
Another of Dmitrii’s projects brings tasks, meeting processing, reporting and work notifications together. AI helps prepare short meeting summaries. The team has a shared space for everyday work.
The value lies in connecting actions. After a meeting, saving a recording is only one step. People also need to understand the decisions and who should act next. Easily accessible agreements can reduce repeated questions and overlooked tasks. That is a useful aim for any team automation project.
Team platform · Project ↗A personal hub for tasks and data
In his personal project, Dmitrii connects tasks, a calendar, notes, job-search information and activity data. Information from several services is gathered in one place, with AI helping prepare daily summaries.
The starting point is a familiar human problem: remembering where everything lives. Sometimes connecting two existing tools is more useful than introducing another one. We can apply this principle to a team’s working day too: reduce unnecessary switching first, then assess what else is worth automating.
Personal hub · Project ↗What we bring to our work together
In these examples, information supports a specific action: explore a neighbourhood, follow through on an agreement or organise personal tasks. That is a useful way to judge a product. Alongside what it can do, ask what it makes easier for someone to accomplish.
We look for the same clarity when discussing business automation. Choose one process, understand it with the people involved and check the solution in everyday use. Time, quality and ease of use all matter. Those are the things to compare before and after a change.
What to take away
A useful product connects data, a clear interface and a person’s next step. Dmitrii’s projects illustrate this approach in different settings. Below are his practical observations, with links to the original posts.
